Alexey Zavolokin is a freelance digital colorist based in Irpin, Ukraine, with over 14 years of experience working across advertising, music videos, TV series, short and feature films.

His journey into the world of visual storytelling began in 2004 through video production and photography. In 2009, he entered the advertising industry, and by 2011, he was already delivering his first commercial color grading projects. Since then, Alexey has collaborated with top production houses, directors, and agencies—both locally and internationally.

With a strong foundation in editing and a deep passion for visual arts and social psychology, he brings a thoughtful, emotionally driven approach to color. His work is not just about achieving a technical result, but about shaping mood, story, and meaning through light and tone.

Alexey works both on-site and remotely, offering creative partnership and technical excellence from initial look development to final delivery. His mission is to enhance the director’s vision and create a lasting emotional connection with the audience—through color.

While currently based in Ukraine, Alexey remains open to new opportunities and creative collaborations abroad.
